Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat butter in an oven-safe skillet. Sauté apples with cinnamon and nutmeg for 3–4 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and salt.
- Pour egg mixture over apples. Add cheese if using.
- Cook on stovetop for 2–3 minutes until edges set.
- Transfer skillet to oven. Bake 10–12 minutes, until frittata is firm and golden.
- Let cool slightly. Slice, garnish with herbs or syrup, and serve.
