Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • 2 medium apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar or goat cheese optional
  • 1 tsp fresh herbs thyme or parsley, optional
  • Maple syrup for drizzling optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat butter in an oven-safe skillet. Sauté apples with cinnamon and nutmeg for 3–4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and salt.
  4. Pour egg mixture over apples. Add cheese if using.
  5. Cook on stovetop for 2–3 minutes until edges set.
  6. Transfer skillet to oven. Bake 10–12 minutes, until frittata is firm and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly. Slice, garnish with herbs or syrup, and serve.
