Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place scallops in shells or ramekins. Spoon a bit of cream sauce over each.
- Top with cheese and a sprinkle of breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes if needed for extra browning.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
