For the Banana Split:
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 12 scoops of ice cream vanilla, chocolate, strawberry — 3 scoops per serving
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup caramel sauce optional
  • ½ cup chopped nuts optional
  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 4 maraschino cherries
For the Pancakes:
  • 2 cups pancake mix or homemade batter
  • cups milk or as package directs
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving

Method
 

Make the Pancakes:
  1. Mix pancake batter as directed.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  3. Pour batter to form pancakes (about 4 inches wide).
  4. Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden.
  5. Keep warm.
Prepare the Banana Split:
  1. Peel and slice each banana lengthwise.
  2. Place banana halves in 4 serving dishes.
  3. Add 3 scoops of ice cream between each banana.

  5. Add whipped cream on top of each scoop.
