Make the Biscuits:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
- Add milk and stir until dough forms.
- Roll out dough to ½-inch thick and cut biscuits.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Make the Gravy:
- Cook sausage in a pan over medium heat until browned.
- Add butter and let it melt.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
- Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Serve:
- Split the biscuits and pour gravy over the top.
