  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the mashed bananas to the wet mixture and stir well.
  5. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in optional add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Spread evenly.
  8. Bake for around 40–45. However, you have to keep an eye on it and make sure it is well baked. Add more cooking time if needed.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
