  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small loaf pan.
  • Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the mashed bananas to the wet mixture and stir well.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in optional add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Spread evenly.
  • Bake for around 40–45. However, you have to keep an eye on it and make sure it is well baked. Add more cooking time if needed.
  • Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
