Garlic Butter Croutons Recipe

  • 3 cups leftover bread cubed
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil optional for extra crispiness
  • 2 garlic cloves minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: dried herbs like parsley or Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter in a pan or microwave. Stir in garlic (or garlic powder), olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Toss bread cubes in the garlic butter until well coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Cool completely before storing or serving.
