Ingredients
  

  • 4 large bell peppers any color
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Peppers: Cut the tops off the peppers and remove seeds. Set them aside.
  3. Cook Beef: Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Mix Filling: Stir in tomato sauce, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Stuff Peppers: Fill peppers with the beef mixture. Place them in a baking dish.
  6. Bake: Wrap with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover, top with cheese, and bake for 10 more minutes or until cheese melts.
  7. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes and serve warm.
