1.Mix and Shape the Meatballs
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix and roll the mixture into 12–16 meatballs, about 1½ inches in diameter.
2.Cook the Meatballs
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides, cooking for 2–3 minutes per side.
3.Simmer in Marinara Sauce
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and stir gently to coat the meatballs.
- Simmer on low heat for 10–12 minutes, ensuring the meatballs are fully cooked.
4.Assemble and Broil the Subs
- Place the toasted sub rolls on a baking sheet. Spoon the meatballs and sauce into each roll.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and broil for 2–3 minutes until melted and bubbly.
