Ingredients
  

  • 500 g 1 lb mussel meat (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions
 

  • Thaw & Drain: If using frozen mussels, thaw them in the fridge and drain excess water.
  • Heat Oil: Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Cook Mussels: Add mussel meat to the pan. Stir and cook for 3–5 minutes until heated through.
  • Add Flavor: Pour in lemon juice and optional broth. Season with salt and pepper. Stir well.
  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with bread, rice, or pasta.
