Method
1. Make the Meatballs:
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, meat of your choice, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, milk, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg.
- Shape into small meatballs (about 1 inch).
- Heat butter in a pan and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides (about 8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
2. Make the Gravy:
- In the same pan, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add beef broth, stirring until smooth.
- Pour in heavy cream and mustard. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Return meatballs to the pan and simmer for 10 more minutes.
3. Make the Dill Potatoes:
- Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes).
- Drain and toss with butter and fresh dill.
4. Serve:
- Plate the meatballs with dill potatoes and spoon gravy over the top.
