Ingredients
Method
Step 1: Season the Chicken
- Rub chicken breasts with olive oil.
- Coat both sides with the following ingredients: salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of paprika.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice or Italian seasoning.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
- Grilling: Heat the grill to medium-high. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Pan-Searing: Pour olive oil in a skillet and put it on medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, flipping once, until fully cooked.
- Oven-Baking: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake chicken on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 3: Slice the Chicken
- Give the chicken 5 minutes rest after cooking to retain its juices.
- Slice it thinly into strips or chunks, depending on your preference.
Step 4: Assemble the Salad
- Place a bed of chopped romaine lettuce in a bowl or platter.
- Add the sliced grilled chicken on top.
- Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons.
- Add Caesar dressing and toss gently to combine.
Time-Saving Tip:
- Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken. Remove the skin, shred or slice the meat, and add it directly to your salad.
