Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces 1 pound of button or cremini mushrooms (cleaned and trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional, for added freshness

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the mushrooms: Clean and trim the mushrooms, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Make the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Coat the mushrooms: Pour the seasoning mixture over the mushrooms. Toss until all mushrooms are evenly coated.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet: Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Bake: Heat the oven, then place the mushrooms in the it. Bake for 15–20 minutes. Stir halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Add lemon juice (optional): Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice for a bright, fresh flavor.
  • Serve immediately: Transfer the baked mushrooms to a serving dish and enjoy them warm.
