Ingredients
  

For the fish:
  • 1 lb 450g Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
For the slaw:
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage mix of green and purple
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
For serving:
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • Extra lime wedges
  • Optional: pickled onions cotija cheese, hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Season the fish: Mix spices with olive oil and lime juice. Rub over the Mahi Mahi fillets.
  2. Cook the fish: Grill or pan-sear over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until opaque and flaky.
  3. Make the slaw: Toss cabbage, cilantro, yogurt, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Warm the tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry pan for 30 seconds per side or until soft and warm.
  5. Assemble the tacos: Flake the fish and place in tortillas. Top with slaw, avocado, and any extras.
