Method
- Toast walnuts in a dry pan until fragrant. Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add pear slices and cook 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drizzle honey (or maple) and balsamic vinegar. Let them caramelise slightly, then remove from heat.
- Whisk dressing ingredients until smooth.
- Toss greens lightly with dressing, then top with warm pears, blue cheese, and walnuts.
- Serve immediately while pears are still warm.
